It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene E. Mayfield of Chesapeake, Virginia, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his significant other Sharon Smith; and his brother Ricky Mayfield. He is survived by: his children, Earl "Geno" Smith, Ron Smith and Aisha Tanell; his mother Juanita Hinton; and his siblings, Sabrina Mayfield, Tiffany Anthony (James C. Anthony), Tahisha Mayfield, Leroy Mayfield, Jimmy Lundy and Lavelle Mayfield. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
