With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frank Mitchell of Chesapeake, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 10, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeannie T. Mitchell and William F. Mitchell; and his siblings, Deborah Stevenson, Charles Mitchell and George Mitchell.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly Mitchell and Megan Ryan (Nick); his stepson Jeffrey Lauver; and his grandsons, Gabriel Henderson, Nathaniel Ryan, Silas Mitchell and Sterling Mitchell.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Virginia, The Addus Hope Foundation.
