He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vester Richardson and Clara Betty Bowen; his wife Janet Schafer Richardson; his children, Cathy Brown and T. Eugene Richardson; his sister Sandra Cotten; his granddaughter Heather Gagnon; and his great grandchild Macie Gagnon.
He is survived by: his children, Franklin Wayne Richardson (Rhonda) of Kinston, NC, Denver R. Enoch, Jr. of Accomack, VA and Angel E. Harrington (Rusty) of Portsmouth, VA.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
