With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fred Herd Kelley Jr. of Chesapeake, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Herd Kelley, Sr. and Margaret Reed Kelley; his wife Sudha Samudre Kelley; and his sister Kathleen Johnson. He is survived by: his sons, Avi Kelley (Kelly) of Chesapeake, VA and Daniel Kelley (Shruti) of Fords, NJ; his brother-in-law Dave Johnson; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Angelina, Ciara and Crystal.
