She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Gilmer Bailey and Eunice Wray Bailey; and her husband Albert Glenn Thompson, Jr.. She is survived by: her brother Bob Bailey (Sheila); her sons, Albert Ray Thompson (Marsha) and Brett Bailey Thompson (Tiffany); her grandchildren, Brooke Barefoot (Robert), Bethany Lofay (Bradley), Briana Thompson, Madison Thompson, Brock Thompson, Ava Thompson, Alivia Thompson and Brody Thompson; and her great grandchildren, Audrey Barefoot, Tripp Barefoot and Cayden Lofay. She is also survived by her brother, her sons and daughters-in-law, her grandchildren and grandchildren-in-law, and her great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Gail Bailey Thompson to the Lymphoma Research Foundation to support research and patient care for those affected by lymphoma.
