He was predeceased by: his mother Audrey Stallings Jones; and his sister Sandy Burson. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Faye Jones; his father Elbert Dale Jones; his children, Rachael, Jackie and Mike; his stepdaughters, Cynthia, Shannon and Jacklyn; his grandchildren, Mike, Faith and Lexie; and his siblings, Tom Jones (Jan) and Ann Bauer (Keith). He is also survived by several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home (601 N Witchduck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
