Geoffrey Amos Hallenbeck Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geoffrey Amos Hallenbeck (Chesapeake, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 11, 2025 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Geoffrey leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He is survived by: his parents, Amos Hallenbeck and Deborah Hallenbeck; his wife Jennifer Cannon Hallenbeck; his children, Alexis Lorraine Dozier and Evan Robert Hallenbeck; his sisters, Jennifer DeLong (Charles) and Elizabeth Hallenbeck McQuarry; and his sister-in-law Lorraine C. Beecham (Preston). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Geoff's memory to the Norfolk SPCA.
