It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Jean Coulter Baynor of Chesapeake, Virginia, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul W. Coulter and Margaret E. Coulter. She is survived by: her husband Richard Wayne Baynor, Sr.; her children, Michele Diane Mallett (Peter) of Chesapeake, VA and Richard Wayne Baynor, Jr. (KimberLee Bruno) of Brick, NJ; her grandchildren, Serena, Gavin, Kale, Kai and LiLee-Mae; her brother Jerry Coulter of Erie, PA.; and her friends, Kay Goodrick, Paula Barker, Cordy Beasley, June Hudgins, Doris Brickhouse and Frances Garner. She is also survived by her family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Jean's memory to Great Bridge Baptist Church, the Union Mission, the Salvation Army, or the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia.
