He is survived by: his wife Van Hatfield; his children, Tim Hatfield (Beth) and Tracy Hatfield (Todd Humphrey); and his grandchildren, Madison, Morgan, Mallory and Zachary.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel (524 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery (5310 Milners Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
