It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriette M. Hazelwood of Chesapeake, Virginia, born in Victoria, Virginia, who passed away on July 24, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Spencer L. Marshall and Blanche L. Marshall (Steele); her siblings, Spencer Marshall, Edwin Marshall, LaRue Marshall and Claudine Trimble; and her niece Marian Mundie.

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Jonni Adams, Becky Steele, Ruth Ann Leonard, Sandra Donaldson, Micki Koch, Dani Hitchens, Spencer Marshall, Tom Marshall and Robert Marshall; her nephew-in-law Vincent Mundie; and her husband Leonard Hazelwood.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Great Bridge United Methodist Church Agape Food Pantry. Keep Harriette's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
