He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Gayle, Sr. and Sarah E. Morris Gayle; and his siblings, Rena Elizabeth Carr and John R. Gayle, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Patricia J. Gayle; and his children, Tammy G. Von Moll (Mike), Wanda A. Rusinak (Richard), Jack M. Gayle, Jr. (Julie) and Edward J. Gayle (Pam). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren.
