He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Dills Banks of Chesapeake; his children, Katharyn Banks Robertson (Gordon Robertson) of Chesapeake and J. Patrick Banks, Jr. (Sherry Banks) of Chesapeake; his grandchildren, Evelyn Robertson Symons (Ben Symons) of Seattle, Washington, Patrick Robertson of Alexandria, Virginia and Adelia Robertson Killian (Connor Killian) of Cincinnati, Ohio; his sister-in-law Vickie Banks; his nephews, Jimmie Banks and Don Banks, Jr. of Sinks Grove; his brothers-in-law, Dan Dills (Marie Dills) of Virginia Beach and John Dills of Chesapeake; his nieces and nephews, Clay Dills (Deedra) of Virginia Beach, Brian Dills (Meredith) of Rodanthe, Reba McConnell of Virginia Beach and Loretta Dills; his great grandchild Madeline Killian of Cincinnati; and his family Pat. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
