He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Redmon Griffin and Susie Radford Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jones Griffin; his sons, Jamie and David; and his siblings, Scott, Betsy Gupton (Jill) and Patsy Nicholson.
