He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richard Fuqua, Sr. and Flora Morrie Wells; and his sister Flora Lee Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Jane B. Martin Fuqua; his children, Ruth Ann Clark (Michael) of Reston, Laura Beth Meinster (Doug) of Chesapeake, Jane Elyce Glasgow (Bob) of Chesapeake and Jamie Fuqua (Stacy) of Virginia Beach; and his grandchildren, Emily, Katherine, Mary Adelaide Clark, Robyn Podolsky (Chris), Benjamin Meinster, Jacob, Hannah Glasgow, Joshua, Paige and Abigail Fuqua.
