She was predeceased by: her parents, Luigi Putignani and Nicoletta Putignani; her daughter Donna van Rijn (Robin); her sisters, Frances and Beatrice; and her sibling-in-law Francis "Frank" Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Powell (Lewis Riesbeck), Francis II (Pamela) and Louis (Sherry); her son-in-law Robin van Rijn; her grandchildren, Jason Powell, Francis III, Bryan (Liz), Shanna Tomon (Cody), Ashley Pate (Michael) and Taylor Peterson (Nick Rhodes); and her great grandchildren, Grant, Luke, James, Connor, Harley, Mary, Kai and Charlotte.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel (524 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
