She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond Douglas and Elizabeth Brathwaite Douglas; and her siblings, Elaine, June, Ione and Urban.
She is survived by: her spouse Johnnie Denham, Sr.; her sons, Johnnie Denham, Jr. of Chesapeake and Eric Denham of Brooklyn; her grandchildren, Tekeva, Muhammad, Elazarus, Uriah and Alim; her great grandchildren, Taniy, Tory, Tru-King and Taylor; her nephews, Wallace Merriam, Jr. (Cheryl) and Scott Merriam (Shawn); and her brother-in-law Wallace Merriam, Sr.. She is also survived by cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
