He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse C Pittman and Ophelia Barnes Pittman of Kenly; and his siblings, Joanne Pittman Bridge of New Mexico and Jesse "Tommy" Pittman of Tennessee. He is survived by: his wife Janet Griffin Pittman; his sister Nina Jackie Undset (John); his sisters-in-law, Marcia Pittman of Tennessee and Vicky Griffin of Bailey; and his friends, Pam and Pat Mongin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
