It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeremiah Gibson Jr. (Chesapeake, Virginia), who passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeremiah Gibson, Sr. and Emma Sue Gibson; and his siblings, Thaddeus Powell, Sarah Riddick and Hilda Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Althea Gibson; his children, Jeremiah Gibson, III (Selina), Teresa King (Kevin) of Suffolk and Karen Gibson of Suffolk; and his sister Martha Townsend of Jacksonville, NC. He is also survived by granddaughters, four great-grandchildren; a host of loving nieces, nephews and dedicated friends.
