Joan Lindsay Roberts Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Joan Lindsay Roberts (Chesapeake, Virginia). Joan, born on September 10, 1944, passed away on October 14, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Lindsay Roberts to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Lindsay and Mary Lindsay; her brothers, Richard and Douglas Lindsay; her husband Francis Roberts; and her daughter Andrea Gustafson.

She is survived by: her son James Roberts (Mira); her grandchildren, Liam and Eliot; her son-in-law Peter Gustafson; her grandchildren-in-law, Reagan and Luke; her nephew Scott Lindsay; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Benjamin, Emma, Owen, Lindsay and Woldan.

After so much loss and the isolation of the COVID pandemic, Joan spent most of her time at home, enjoying the company of Gus, her cairn terrier, and watching British TV, QVC and WAVY News.
