He is survived by : his children, Rodney Ashby of Roanoke Rapids and Candi Taylor (Mike Taylor) of Littleton; his grandchildren, Marisa Merriett, Christian Emery, Zachary Carter and Collin Ashby; his stepgrandsons, Braxton Moseley and Chance Taylor; his great grandchildren, Asher, Khyler, Jackson and Nolan; and his siblings, Philip Ashby, Jacqueline Taylor of Fredericksburg, Rachel Tribble of Fredericksburg and Judith Hopkins of Falls Church, Virginia.. He is also survived by his family and friends.
