He was predeceased by: his parents, John Higgins and Thelma Higgins; his wife Gloria Higgins; his son John "Jick" Higgins; his granddaughter Ryan Marie Higgins; and his brother Dennis Higgins.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Higgins (Beth) and Kelly Higgins (Donna); his grandchildren, Brittany Webb, Madelyn Kresinske (Trae), Tess Cockrell (Brandon), Samantha Higgins and Kellie Higgins; his great grandchildren, Bryce Webb, Myles Webb, Felicity Kresinske and Reese Cockrell; and his sister Claudia Cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation in memory of John's beloved wife, Gloria.
