She is survived by: her nephew Robert Upton III (Tonya); her nieces, Nancy Johnston, Joanne Seal (Tony) and Joyce Ann Attoe (Joel); her cousins, Kim Pulley and Joyce Fudala; and her sister-in-law Hazel Upton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joyce's honor to Virginia Beach Theological Seminary or Missions to Military.
