He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Mae Cook (Coleman) and George W. Cook, Sr.; his brother Andre Cook; and his granddaughter Ny'Angel Waff. He is survived by: his wife Karen Gunter Cook; his children, Larry Cook Jr. (Jennifer), Andre Cook and Shanika Cook (Adrian Waff); his grandchildren, Nazaria Cook, Larry Cook III, Jasmine Cook, Adrian Waff Jr. and Nasiyah Waff; his stepmother Doris Cook; his siblings, George Cook, Stephanie Cook, Michael Cook (Lisa), Billy Cook (Sharon), John Cook (Valerie), Paul Cook (Melanie), Julie Snowden (Jasper) and Joyce Smith (Keon); his stepsiblings, Kevin Bright and Shawn Bright; his sister-in-law Sheila Gunter; his aunts, Lucille Coleman and Ethel Cook Carter; and his uncle Gregory Coleman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
