It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lillian Rita Donovan (Chesapeake, Virginia), who passed away on January 6, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Danny Donovan; her siblings, James Corbett, Marie Thorstenson, Helen McAllister and Carolyn Procopio; her granddaughter Marissa Joyner Scheiner; and her sister Alice Hawley.
She is survived by: her niece Darlene Joyner (Hudson); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Courtney Joyner and Lauren Hamilton; her nephew Matthew Joyner; her children, Brian Donovan (Flow), Denny Brown, Trina, Cody and Aiden; and her siblings, Sally Downes of Atkinson, NH and Frank Corbett (Cathy) of Kittery, ME.. She is also survived by extended family and friends, her children's friends that became her own children.
Because our father died at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have held onto his cremains until we could have a Memorial Service for them both, so we will be holding a Celebration of Life for them.
