We are sad to announce that, on January 28, 2021, Linda Jane Hummel (Chesapeake, Virginia), born in Rosedale, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Ochs and Helen Ochs; and her husband Robert Hummel. She is survived by: her siblings, Joe, Barbara, Susan, John and Michael; her children, Dan, Tim and Rusty; and her grandchildren, Paige, Ryan, Noah, Chase, Keegan, Emerson, Wyatt, Wesley and Vivian. She is also survived by her five siblings and eight nieces and nephews.

“Linda was a wonderful person. I worked with her for years in the Religious Education program at Holy Name of Mary, Montgomery, NY. She was a strong support to me when my husband passed away. Knowing all the young people she shared the faith with through the years, I believe it was a glorious homecoming and the words "Well done, good and faithful servant" would have been said. She is now at peace and surrounded by her loved ones. May the wonderful memories you have console you now..”
