It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda Faye Murphy of Chesapeake, Virginia, who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Ivey, and Charlotte Faircloth Ivey, Jr.; her brother Eddie Ivey; her sibling's children, Jessica Sykes and Jonathan Blair; and her pet Roxy.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bert" Murphy; her son Willie Murphy (Sarah); her stepdaughters, Whitney Murphy-Farlow and Colette Price (Bruce); her siblings, Becky Phillips, Shirley Ivey and Ricky Ivey; her sister-in-law Sharon Ivey; her grandchildren, Madison Murphy, Allie Murphy, Emma Murphy, Tristin Farlow, Byron Farlow, Van Price and Blade Price; her siblings' children, Rachel Sykes, Nickie Ivey, Alisa Murphy Brooks, Lee Ivey (Lillian) and Scott Ivey (Magan); her friends, Renee, Jimmy and Jamie McKinney; and her pet Abbie.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Graham Funeral Home (1112 Kempsville Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23320). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chesapeake Memorial Gardens (524 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322).
