With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lonnie Elmer Hines of Chesapeake, Virginia, who passed away on December 19, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest E. Hines and Pearl Hines; his wife Jean Landing Hines; and his siblings, Bernice Hyatt, Wilber Hines and Ernest R. Hines.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Watkins (Mel), Debbie Grubb (Kevin) and Larry Hines (Debbie Moose); his grandchildren, Lynn Grubb Monteith (John) and Josh Grubb (Brittany); his great grandchildren, Abigail, Parker, Caleb and Esther; his granddaughters, Amy Moose and Alissa Moose; and his nieces and nephews, Annette Curtiss, Dana Gray, Lynn Manning, Keith Hyatt and Andrew Hines.
Memorial contributions may be made to International Mission Board or Ruritan National.
