He was predeceased by: his parents, Della Assaid and Elizabeth Assaid (Libby). He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Assaid (Elizabeth) and Steve Assaid Jr.; his grandchildren, Emma and Evan Assaid (Jeff); his brothers, Joe Assaid and Gary Assaid (Karen); his nieces, Ashley Henley, Carly Hathaway and Madison Numi; his stepchildren, Jason Woolard, Brooke Barnes, Lauren Woolard and Mark Barnes; his stepgrandchildren, Brayden Woolard (Jason), Luke and Logan Barnes (Brooke); Kathy Assaid.
