She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jimmy and Maggie McCartney; her husband John; her brother Liam; her sister-in-law Bessie; her sister Mary; her brother-in-law Ray; her sister Sadie; her children, James Wallis, Elizabeth Woehr, Deirdre Broderick (Bill), Liam Wallis (Anson) and Patricia Hewitt (Brian); her grandchildren, Christopher (Michele), Jennifer (Michael), Stephanie (Jacob), Sean, James, Timothy, Raeven (Brandon), Keiffonte, Conor, Aidan, Taylor and Bryanna; and her sister-in-law Doreen Wallis. She was also cherished by seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Margaret Wallis to the Prince of Peace Father Romeo Jazmin Food Pantry.
