She was predeceased by: her parents, Ballard Hocutt and Mettie Mae Creech Hocutt; her husband Edward E. Mason; and her daughter-in-law Sally Crockett Mason. She is survived by: her children, William Edward Mason (Jama), Gary E. Mason and Donna Leigh Mason Sykes (Howard); and her sister Marie Schmidt (Dan). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews.
