He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Copeland and Johnnie Mae Copeland; and his brother Willie T Copeland. He is survived by: his wife Emily Copeland of Chesapeake, VA.; his children, Eugene Copeland and Angelette Copeland-Harrell (William); his grandchildren, Da'Qoun Copeland, Kemoni Copeland, Jenae Copeland and Katouri Copeland; his siblings, Benjamin Copeland, Lloyd Copeland (Sharon), Annie B. Spence (Dexter), Mary Alice Jackson and Monique Copeland; his siblings-in-law, Joanne Copeland, Linda Brown, Garlena Pierce, Matthew Williams, Linwood Williams (Renee) and Timothy Williams (Vernise); his uncle Bernard Dodson; and his aunts, Genevieve Williams and Delores Warren. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
