Mary L. McLemore Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary L. McLemore (Chesapeake, Virginia), who passed away on June 15, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Caleb Paul Lockey; her former spouse Foye A. McLemore, Sr.; her children, Sylvia E. Mayes, Pamela A. Grass, Kenneth James McLemore and Mary Elizabeth McLemore; and her son-in-law Barratt C. Sturtevant.
She is survived by: her children, Mary T. Sturtevant of Cypress, TX and Foye A. McLemore, Jr. (Debra) of Currituck, NC; her sister Ida Helms; and her daughter-in-law Cathy McLemore. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; and seven great great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.
