She was predeceased by: her parents, Danton Gibbs Steele and Blanche Marian Steele (Wynhoff); and her brother Daniel Lee Steele of Jefferson City. She is survived by: her siblings, Lynden Steele (Arden) of Florida, Margaret Blankenship (Maggie) of Chesapeake and Danton Steele II (Jill) of Florida; her nieces and nephews, Danton Steele III, Anthony Steele, Lynden Steele II (Jodi), Zarya Steele and Alexandra Duff; and her friends, Susan McLaren Gifford of Chesapeake and Rebecca Detmer of Chesapeake. She is also survived by 8 great nephews and nieces.
