We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Mattie Glenn Beale (Chesapeake, Virginia), born in Potecasi, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland W. Beale, Sr. and Mary Belle Hodge Beale; her sisters, Anne Beale Jenkins (Robert Darrell Jenkins, Sr.) and Mary Ross Beale Brown (Chester Holland Brown, Sr.); and her friend Patricia Ann Nicholas.
She is survived by: her brother Garland Wood Beale, Jr.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Because of Aunt Matt's love for animals, the family strongly requested contributions be made to the Chesapeake Humane Society, 312 N Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23320.
