It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael William Emmelman (Chesapeake, Virginia), who passed away on March 11, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie Emmelman and Helen Emmelman; his sister Debby; and his nephew Paul. He is survived by: his wife Susan Gulling Emmelman; his daughters, Heidi Stephen, Jana Cullom (Mark) and Krista Harden (Jon); his stepchildren, William Miller (Elysia), Andrew Miller (Rachel) and Ayanna Miller; his grandchildren, Jacob Stephen, Rowan, Lachlan, Torin Cullom, Charlotte and Anelise Miller; and his sisters, Ellen Jessup Dickinson (Jack) and Karen Bauman (Geoff). He is also survived by two nephews; four nieces; along with many cousins and friends.
