It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Naomi Wilkins Thacker of Chesapeake, Virginia, who passed away on October 22, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernie Adkins and Isabell Adkins; her former husband Floyd Wilkins, Sr.; and her grandsons, David Lee and Kevin Hahn.

She is survived by: her husband C. E. Thacker; her sisters, Wilma English (John) and Maxine Wilkins (Ray); her children, Marcella Wilkins, Rosemary Hughes, Floyd Wilkins, Jr. (Debbie) and Mamie Hahn (David); and her stepdaughters, Millie Rice (Brian) and Louise Daught (Dan). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
