He is survived by: his wife Karen; and his children, Donald Smith (Jennifer), Tina Smith Haymaker, Brad Smith (Tara), Angela Leary (Dan), Joy Smith and Kara Adair. He is also survived by grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home (929 S Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23322). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Chesapeake Memorial Gardens (524 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322).
