He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Glinn and Sallie Whitehead Cherry; and his brother Robert Glinn Cherry, Jr. (Bobby). He is survived by: his wife Susan Cherry; his children, Travis Cherry, Katherine Kessinger (Bill) and Ward Cherry (Mikaela); his grandchildren, Owen, Emma and Everett; and his siblings, Mary Thibodeaux (Jerry) and Christopher Cherry (Betsy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
