She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Etheridge and Swanelle Lassiter Etheridge; her brother Aubrey Etheridge Jr.; and her daughter Cindee Lee Lewis. She is survived by: her husband Gary Gower; her children, Ronnie, Leo, Rob, Karen, Joy and Linda; her grandchildren, Christine, Derek, Jesse, Lacee, Gracee and Zacharee; and her sister Swanie Sue Schuetz. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Graham Funeral Home (1112 Kempsville Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23320). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chesapeake Memorial Gardens (524 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322).
