He is survived by: his wife Lilia Ester Pérez Cifuentes of Guatemala; his daughter Almarie Esther Donaldson; his granddaughters, Hannah Liang Kai and Mia Bao Jun; his daughter Faith Sissel Flick (Gregory Flick); and his grandchildren, Yzabella Pierce (Noah), Joshua Flick (Rylin), Eliana, Abryana, Ethan, Ephraim and Wynter.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Christ Church (3216 Taylor Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23321).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made in Don's honor to Global Harvesters, Inc., his sending mission organization.
