He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Waldo Davis, Sr. and Mildred Bowen Davis; his sister Linda Davis Scales; and his son Reginald Waldo Davis, III. He is survived by: his sons, Reggie and Ronnie; his wife R. Evelyn Davis; his children, Rondrea Powell and Rikki W. Davis (Cynthia); his sisters, Mildred Gaines and Connie Fountain; and his grandchildren, Nikkole Davis, Audre'Davis, Reggie Davis IV, Makkenzie Davis, Chase Powell and Penelope Davis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He and Evelyn eventually founded Strait Gait ministries where he Pastored until the Covid pandemic.
