It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard John Neer of Chesapeake, Virginia, who passed away on October 26, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Neer and Leonard Neer; and his sisters, Beulah Porter and Karen Birdsley. He is survived by: his wife Janie; his children, Keith (Crystal) and Susan (Stephen); his grandchildren, Nathan (Chiara), Tyler, Tiffany and Shannon; his siblings, George Neer (Donna) and Linda Whitham; his sisters-in-law, Jean Costin and Ann Merritt; and his nieces and nephews, Audrey, Arlinda, Deborah, Lisa, Sheila, Pebbles, Kelli, Sonny, Kristyn and Lydia.
