He was predeceased by: his parents, Iona Gay Cerza and James Francis Cerza Sr.; and his brother John David Cerza. He is survived by: his wife Alesia; his children, Richard Jr. "Ricky" (Kayla), Christina (David) and Chely (Khadir); his grandchildren, Chloe, Candace, Mason, Summer and Kyren; and his siblings, C. Anthony Cerza (Charlene), Brenda C. Duda (Peter) and James F. Cerza, Jr. (Ann). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
