It is with sadness that the passing of Richard James McLane (Chesapeake, Virginia) is shared. Richard, born on May 30, 1932 in Alfred, New York, passed away on June 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Richard will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his wife June McLane (Colvard). He is survived by: his children, Cynthia McLane (Feser) of Williamsburg and David McLane (Ruth); his granddaughters, Molly Gholson (Matthew), Shannon McLane and Natalie McLane; his nephews, Phillip Davis, Robert Swoyer, John Swoyer and James Swoyer; and his cousin Frank Starr.
