He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Alvin Merson and Cornelia Ethel Michelfelder; his wife Constance "Connie" Sue Merson; his former wife Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" Merson; and the mothers of children, Mickey and Marti.
He is survived by: his daughters, Martha Ellen "Marti" Merson Geck and Michelle Lynn "Mickey" Merson Scott; and his son-in-law Brad Scott.
