We bid farewell to Robert Bass (Chesapeake, Virginia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 22, 2026 at the age of 85. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bass and Lucille Bass; and his siblings, Peggy Hatton, Carrie Collins, Joseph Bass and Jesse Bass.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Eanes Bass; his children, Tina Bass Powell and Robert L. "Robbie" Bass, Jr.; his stepson James "Chris" Goodwin, Sr. (Tina); his sisters, Clara Land and Sandra Garner; his grandchildren, Brandon Bass, Shelby Caroon, Shawna Weatherly, Glen Weatherly, Josh Weatherly, Christopher Goodwin, Jr., Gracie Goodwin and Matthew Goodwin; and his great grandchildren, Sabrea, Cameron and Gunner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Geneva Park Church of Christ.
