With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Eugene Rudy (Chesapeake, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 31, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Robert Eugene may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence C. Rudy and Eula H. Rudy; and his brother Willard C. Rudy. He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne K. Rudy; his children, Joshua M. Rudy (Indri) and Sarah R. Mabery (Aaron); and his grandsons, James R. Mabery, Robert O. Mabery and Daniel E. Rudy.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Family Residence (1540 Lauren Ashleigh Dr, Chesapeake, VA 23321).
