He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence R. Powers. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his daughters, Jennifer Kane (Shaun) of Knotts Island, NC and Megan Dosher (James) of Apex, NC; his grandchildren, Rowan, Larry Dosher, Nora and Meara Kane; and his sisters, Linda Critzer (Mike) and Susan Vosters (Jim). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
