He was predeceased by: his parents, Linwood B. Marvel and Grace Hammond Marvel. He is survived by: his wife Libby Marvel; his children, Brian Marvel (Angela), Kevin Marvel and Lindsay Hampton; his stepdaughters, Carrie Phelps (Kevin) and Heather Kitchens; and his siblings, Dennis Marvel (Janice) and Carol Stuart (Ron). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
