He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon McDaniel and Beatrice Lowe McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Elaine McDaniel; his children, Roland McDaniel, Jr., Kenneth Mitchell and Nita Young (Mark); his grandchildren, Anthony McDaniel, Cori Cuffee, Bernita Washington, Darius Young, Raynah Young, Mark Young II, Layla Young and Da-Quan Williams; and his pet Cody.
